Chicken and Rice Casserole

Whole chicken cut up, if you want to use thigh and leg pieces I think 4 of each would be good


  • 1 pkg of powdered French onion soup
  • 1 ½ cups of minute rice
  • 1 cup of water
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup

 

  1. Salt and Pepper to taste
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Spray PAM in casserole pan
  4. Spread minute rice evenly over the bottom of the casserole pan
  5. Put cut up chicken pieces on top of minute rice
  6. Sprinkle pkg of French onion soup over chicken pieces
  7. Mix water, milk, and cream of mushroom soup together
  8. Pour soup mixture over chicken pieces, lifting up chicken pieces so that the rice is covered with the liquid
  9. Put aluminum foil over the casserole
  10. Put the covered casserole dish in the preheated oven
  11. Bake for 30 minutes, remove aluminum foil, and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until the chicken pieces are cooked.
