Whole chicken cut up, if you want to use thigh and leg pieces I think 4 of each would be good
- 1 pkg of powdered French onion soup
- 1 ½ cups of minute rice
- 1 cup of water
- ½ cup of milk
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray PAM in casserole pan
- Spread minute rice evenly over the bottom of the casserole pan
- Put cut up chicken pieces on top of minute rice
- Sprinkle pkg of French onion soup over chicken pieces
- Mix water, milk, and cream of mushroom soup together
- Pour soup mixture over chicken pieces, lifting up chicken pieces so that the rice is covered with the liquid
- Put aluminum foil over the casserole
- Put the covered casserole dish in the preheated oven
- Bake for 30 minutes, remove aluminum foil, and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until the chicken pieces are cooked.
